As a wear specialist with Wear Technology you have deep knowledge about our world leeding materials and it's applications. You share your knowledge with colleageus and customers and you are placed in Oxelösund where the main part of the Wear Technology team is situated. Placement Oxelösund.
About the position
Wear Technology give advanced customer support in wear related issues focusing on business around our wearplate Hardox. The Wear Technology team is a part of Knowledge Service Center reporting directly to SSAB Groups Chief Technical Officer. The team has expert technical knowledge especially when it comes to optimizing the use of our high strength steel.
With deep knowledge about the characteristics and applications of our materials you will be the link between theory and practice focusing on finding better and more sustainable solutions for our customers in wear.
Your qualifications
University degree (technical). Knowledge about wear is an advantage. You should have experience from planning and executing both laboratory- and field experiments and analyzing the result.
You have vast knowledge in solid mechanics and mechanical design.
In order to succeed you must have drive and be able to work both independently and in a team. You will develop our global sales organization in your field of competence to support our customers business in the best way possible.You must be able to travel since you are supporting a global organization and we expect you to lead internal- and external seminars both in english and swedish. If you know additional languages that is an advantage.
