Our client 's Business Unit is providing Consultancy services in SW R&D Tooling domain. Customers outsource full stack responsibilities to our client where they take care of the whole Application Lifecycle Management for the tool.
Now they need to strengthen their team of consultants with a System Architect.
About the position
The role as System Architect at our client is primarily within two areas of knowledge - advanced software development and Microservices. The current department develops and provides a signaling module that handles all signaling that occurs during a telephone call.
Software development
As a System Architect, you will be part of an experienced and well-established system architect team in Karlstad. You will work on further developing and customizing an already existing product, based on the customer's needs. It is also within your area of responsibility to analyze and investigate how a solution can be adapted, which takes place at a deeply technically advanced level.
Our client works based on the "4-eye principle", which means that you as a System Architect will review your colleagues' code to ensure that the quality is kept in a product delivery and vice versa.
Micro Services
Our customer is facing a technological change where they want to adapt their product to Microservices. This is to enable developers' productivity and to make the product more scalable. This means that as a system architect, with expertise in Microservices, you will have the opportunity to influence how the functionality of the product will be adapted and set the framework for new working methods ("way of working").
Your qualifications
We are looking for you who recognize yourself in the following competencies:
• Five years of work experience as a pure software developer or alternatively held a shared role as software developer and architect
• C / C ++ or JAVA programming experience
• Experience in completing a transformation to Microservices and having related knowledge of container management systems Kubernetes and Dockers
• Worked agile
• Ability to communicate in English in speech and writing
It is a merit but no requirement that you have a background in telecom or datacom industry.
Personal skills
You have good communication skills as internal dialogue with colleagues, as well as customers occurring on a daily basis. You have a positive attitude as well as a willingness and ability to help and advise others in your everyday work.
Terms
Start: Immediately taking into account your possible notice period
Extent: full-time, permanent
Work hours: Monday-Friday 8 am - 5 pm
Location: Karlstad
