We are seeking a Group IT Manager to join our customers friendly and professional IT Department. The candidate we are looking for is enthusiastic, have proven IT Management experience and great communication.
Focusing on secure, maintain and develop the IT platform for the whole Group, in line with the business needs and requirements of today, as well as tomorrow. You will be a part of the Management team to the CFO.

Primary Responsibilities of the Role:

Service Delivery: Define the service platform with input from the business and work with the business to ensure the ongoing business requirements are met. To foster partnership between IT and the business in the delivery of Services on their behalf developing KPI's.
Infrastructure: To ensure that the appropriate infrastructure is in place to support the businesses needs both current and future.
Change: To ensure that all IT change is delivered in support of the needs of the business, is cost effective and that the results of change are fit for purpose.
IT Strategy: As the Group IT manager you are responsible for developing and maintaining the IT strategy that closely aligns with the main business strategy and secure input from key stakeholders
Budget: Manage the IT budget for support and change in accordance with the requirements of the wider strategic objectives of the company

Experience



* Retail experience is advantage
* Successful candidates are likely to have a track record from a leading consultancy
* Experience with leading IT strategy work and solution design.

Skills



* Proven track record in problem solving and ability to take a holistic view to an IT platform
* Ability to drive development process and support business in defining IT requirements
* Strong business understanding

Education



* University degree is an advantage

Miscellaneous



* Proven proficiency in dealing with complex technical issues across all aspects of the project lifecycle
* Sound knowledge of development methods aimed at providing solutions for users, adding value and identifying opportunities for improvement Proven track record in stakeholder and client relationship management - including technology, business, internal and external partners/vendors, senior management
* Experience in reviewing the adequacy and allocation of IT resources in terms of funding, personnel, equipment, and service levels
* Understands the Company's Managers' Manual including policy and procedures for recruitment and selection and performance management.
