We are currently recruiting young professionals for the Volvo IT Mainframe Young Professionals Programme
This opportunity is connected to the Infrastructure & Operations unit in Gothenburg, Sweden, which provides high class infrastructure services to the Volvo Group and to a number of external customers around the globe.
The programme will kick off in September, holding seven seats. As one of the technicians in the programme, you will have nine months of training, working closely with highly skilled, experienced and supportive colleagues in a challenging working environment. You will be prepared for a future career in the company thru a strong competence development roadmap, focusing on Mainframe technologies like z/OS operating system, transaction & database systems, hardware & software architecture of the Z-platform, automation, virtualization, cloud services, web solutions and much more.
After completing the programme in the spring of 2014, the ambition is to offer employment at Volvo IT, if both parties agree.
We are looking for professionals with a genuine interest and passion for IT technology and having an education relevant for joining the programme. You are a person combining high individual skills with an ambition to develop. You like to work in teams and have excellent command of spoken and written Swedish and English.
