Join as a Procurement & Logistics Specialist and work in a team that is dedicated to creating the future for the sustainable and efficient process industry.
This Business unit offers reliable equipment for measuring and control. The products measure mechanical and geometric variables and are used in a large variety of different industries and processes to improve productivity, control, and quality
Tasks
As a Procurement & Logistics Specialist, you will be responsible to design and implement plans for sourcing to reach the business targets. You will plan, improve and follow up on supplier performance as well as qualify new suppliers and negotiate contracts. We expect you to apply and implement Procurement & Logistics standards, tools, and processes in the area of responsibility to secure quality, delivery, cost, and sustainability. You will also support our Production and Production Engineering Team in the investment processes of new machinery equipment, in terms of supplier selection, negotiation contracts, and service agreements.
You will be part of a small local team with Buyers, P&L Specialists, Operation Schedulers, and Inventory Managers and you will be reporting to Head of SCM Planning & Fulfillment. In addition, you will work together in a global team of colleagues within P&L on different improvement projects and initiatives.
In this role, you will have a lot of opportunities to develop both the business and you as a professional within SCM.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you hold a university degree (Bachelor or Master) preferable within Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Economics with at least 3-5 years proven experience/skills in similar roles. Experience with supplier base of mechanical and electromechanical parts is a benefit. Fluency in English and Swedish is mandatory, written and spoken alike.
We looking for personalities who are self-confident, driven, customer-focused and with the attitude that everything is achievable in a team. Good communication skills and problem-solving abilities are success enablers in this role.
