There is now an opportunity for you to join us in the development of our new products. Volvo Group Trucks Technology has an increased need of skilled engineers within the Global Technology Area Driver Electronics located in Gothenburg.
We are looking for new employees with passion to work and develop sustainable transport solutions with pioneering products and services for the transport and infrastructure industries.
Position Description:
We are now looking for an excellent HW component owner in the Infotainment area. You should have long experience of HW and handling suppliers. To deliver world class products in this area we are constantly challenged to provide the best solutions in terms of feature, quality and cost. You will be working with core technologies which will give you the opportunity to make a major impact in the way Volvo develop and test its products.
Main Responsibilities:
Responsible for HW roadmaps for instrument cluster and other components in the infotainment area.
Responsible for writing Technical Requirements in projects in the infotainment area.
Responsible for securing that the HW suppliers are following the projects timeplans and technical requirements.
Responsible for SCOS activities in the instrument cluster area.
Responsible for handling maintenance issues related to the product.
Take part of pre-studies, provide and maintain concept solutions for the instrument cluster or other displays in the truck.
Qualifications:
You should have a genuine passion for HW development and tools related.
You should also have experience from working with suppliers in development projects
Proficiency in HW development
You should be able to have a dialogue on the right level with the stakeholders.
Excellent collaborative skills
At least 5 years experience in the automotive experience
