There is now an opportunity for you to join us in the development of our new products. Volvo Group Trucks Technology has an increased need of skilled engineers within the group for ECU Development located in Gothenburg.
We are looking for new employees with passion to work and develop sustainable transport solutions with pioneering products and services for the transport and infrastructure industries.
Position description
As Hardware Owner you will be delivery- and lifecycle responsible for the housing of-, and electronics in an ECU (Electrical Control Unit). The mission is to secure that the delivered Hardware meet defined requirements and is installed properly in the target environment.
You will in this role work in a cross functional team, often with global representation. In addition you will also cooperate with external suppliers to develop the ECU housing and electronics.
Required skills and qualifications
Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or similar
3-5 years of experience within hardware development of embedded systems
Hardware development and related processes
Electrical Schematics and layout knowledge
Test and verification of electronics
Supplier partnership management
Fluent in English, written and spoken
Electronics production knowledge
Experience from APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) is a merit
