There is now an opportunity for you to join us in the development of our new products. Volvo Group Trucks Technology has an increased need of skilled engineers within the Global Technology Area Driver Electronics located in Gothenburg.
We are looking for new employees with passion to work and develop sustainable transport solutions with pioneering products and services for the transport and infrastructure industries.
Position Description:
You will lead a team responsible for developing one of the platform components in the infotainment and cab system. The system is an integral part of our customer?s product offering and the driver environment. To deliver world class products in this area we are constantly challenged to provide the best solutions in terms of feature, quality and cost.
Main Responsibilities:
Project management towards suppliers, in close cooperation with purchasing to manage and maintain supplier dialogue at all design stages and in maintenance phase.
Continuously follow up the development by the supplier or internal SW developers: development process review, time plans, deliveries etc.
Being team leader and coordinate the work and the resources within the team and represent the team of several component owners in project meetings
Interface to Aftermarket, Global Manufacturing, Quality and Purchasing for the component development
Qualifications:
We believe you have a strong background in embedded software engineering development and a deep knowledge of supplier management, project management and team leading. Experience from Agile development is a merit.
