There is now an opportunity for you to join us in the development of our new products. Volvo Group Trucks Technology has an increased need of skilled engineers within the group for ECU Development located in Gothenburg.
We are looking for new employees with passion to work and develop sustainable transport solutions with pioneering products and services for the transport and infrastructure industries.
Position description
The ECU Owner has the overall responsibility of an ECU including ECU Hardware, ECU Software and interface and compatibility towards connected sensors and actuators. Your mission is to maintain and secure ECU quality, functionality, design, performance and commonality between brands and segments throughout the ECU lifecycle, having an overall knowledge of how the functionality is realized in the ECU.
As an ECU Owner You will be the GTT main interface for our suppliers dealing with software and/or hardware development.
You will in this role have to lead the work in a cross functional network, often with global representation.
Required skills and qualifications
Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or similar
3-5 years of experience within embedded systems development
Software development and related processes
Hardware development and related processes
Team leadership
Planning
Supplier partnership and agreements management
Fluent in English, written and spoken
Experience from APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) is a merit
Experiences from agile development are a merit.
