We are looking for an experienced Lead Engineer that will play a key role in fulfilment of larger international projects at FlexLink. In this role you will be part of our Tissue department and work with customers and colleagues globally. You will be responsible for the day to day office management with focus on project deliveries. You will have a team of 5-7 engineers reporting directly to you. The team consists of project engineers, controls engineers and project managers.
In this role you will be based in our headquarters in Gothenburg, mainly you will work in-house but some travel will occur. You will report to Head of SBU Tissue Nordic.
Main responsibilities:
• Fulfillment of larger international customer projects
• Responsibility for technical leadership in customer projects and keeping control of the overall system
• Ensure customer satisfaction
• Coordinate the day to day demands
• Coordinate the milestone meetings, update on the project status
• Resource planning for project deliveries
• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering is preferred
• Several years' experience of Project Management of international automation projects involving mechanical solutions and controls
• Experienced working with AutoCAD, Inventor or Solid works
• Previous industrial/factory automation experience is highly preferred
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
As the ideal candidate, you have excellent decision making skills and are able to implement the decisions in the group. You are skilled in project management and have great leadership skills. You have an innovative approach and the ability to easily adopt efficient ways of working.
