This role will be a part of the Finance team consisting of 6 employee's working from Karlskrona, Sweden and Copenhagen, Denmark. As a Chief Accountant you will have the overall responsibility for the accounting the in whole group, responsible for the monthly closings and manage the finance team in the closing process. You will also conduct reconciliation of accounts and coordinate with bookkeeping agencies in subsidiaries in other countries.
Additional responsibilities include:
• Accruals of revenues and costs.
• Make legal consolidation of the group
• Ensure we comply with applied accounting standards
• Prepare commission reports
• Prepare financial reports/Annual reports
• Manage the audit process
• Be part of developing new processes, routines, tools and reports
• Tax reporting (VAT/Social Security)
• Income tax declaration
• Liquidity planning
• Ad hoc analysis
• Other miscellaneous financial tasks.
As a Chief Accountant you will manage existing processes and routines as well as create and implement new ways of working that are in line with the company's strategic work. Therefore, we see that the right candidate has wide and solid experience in accounting combined with an overall view of finance.
We see that you are a solution-oriented and dedicated person who hold's a bachelor's degree in the relevant field and that you have at least 5 year's experience working with accounting. If you have knowledge from K3 or IFRS and experience working with Salesforce and Navision, it will be considered as an advantage.
We also see that you have good communication skills and that you are fluent in English in both writing and speaking as this is the corporate language.
