hela Sverige We are looking for a positive, innovative colleague who wants to help us stay in the forefront, drive innovation in our products and merge existing radar technology with anything buzzing out there in terms of AI, other future emerging technologies or whatever comes next.
Your role
You will be part of X Innovation Lab at Radar solutions. Our mission is to drive innovation in our products and anything related to them, as well as to inspire and support innovation in our organization. You will be talking to a lot of people throughout Radar Solutions and you will be asked to prototype what those people envision.
A lot of what we do will be somewhere in the software domain; perhaps something related to AI or machine learning. But, it may also be to, together with your team, envision how to use a feature in a new way providing added value for our products. You will most likely use software as a tool to realise ideas and create a viable proof of concept.
The main tasks are:

Develop software prototypes to demonstrate and validate concepts

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve technical challenges
*
Participate in ideation sessions and contribute with creative and innovative ideas to the team
*
Promote innovation throughout the organization
*
Continuously stay up-to-date on emerging trends and technologies in the field
Your profile
We expect you to bring an open mind and a visionary spirit along with insights into what is buzzing in the world of tech, as well as a good understanding of our domain and of radar technology in order to facilitate ideas from our organization and transform them into prototypes that are of significance to our business.
To be successful in this position, you do not have to be an expert in your area, but we would like you to be open to working with whatever comes your way. You also need to be a team player who is eager to learn and engage in exploratory work, and not afraid to fail fast, as they say.
Required skills:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Engineering physics or other relevant field
*
Problem-solving skills
*
Hands on programming skills
*
Have an attention to the wider picture, and not only to details
*
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
*
Good communication skills, both verbal and written
*
A few years of working experience
Desired skills:
*
Knowledge and actual production experience of AI; preferably from a safe/secure point of view, as that is a must in our line of work
*
Radar domain knowledge, either from the user or the technology perspective
*
An interest and knowledge in data driven development
*
A background in data science or some knowledge of data lakes would complement our team
*
Experience from other innovation labs
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
