We are looking for a Finance manager Nordic - new role
Our customer has a positive growth. Now we are building a new Swedish organization with several new roles.
The Finance manager position is created to manage all Finance and Business controlling activities, including a responsibility for office management and monthly salary administration. There is a third party supplier for accounting and salary administration for part of the business. It will be the responsibility of the finance manager to set-up a new common Nordic scope. It is being considered to have one direct report to provide support with the ongoing accounting and receivables and to manage data imputation in the reporting tools, this will be validated in connection with the new outsourced scope. The position is placed in Stockholm and will report to General Manager Wholesale.
Controlling
* Manage the annual budget process and quarterly forecasts
* Enter the budget and forecast data in company reporting tools
* Monthly turnover, margin and cost reconciliation and imputation in reporting tools
* Support the commercial teams with customer analysis and preparations for negotiations
* Monitor local cost structure and commercial contracts, challenge and propose optimization
* Monitor financial impact of local stock, liaise with stock managers to approve stock
* adjustments
* Regular contact with HQ controlling department
Accounting and salary administration
Book keeping and salary administration is partly outsourced today and it will be in the responsibility of the Finance manager to set-up a new common scope and process for:
* General accounting, monthly financial reporting and IC invoicing
* Consolidation in reporting tool and reconciliation of IC accounts
* Annual closing including accrual mgt, closing the accounts and supporting the auditors
* Tax reporting
* Salary administration
* Compliance with legal local legislations
Cash management
* Manage Account receivables, including dunning process, blocking bad payers, making payment plans, controlling collectors
* Manage credit control of customers, setting limits and monitor financial situation of main customers
* Manage payment of local expenses including monthly forecasting to ensure local cash balance
* Monthly invoicing of concession customers
Background
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years working experience in the area of Finance and/or Controlling, preferably within a sales company to have a good understanding of business management. A university degree in Finance or business administration. A background from wholesale, retail, FMCG or similar is meriting.
Key skills/competencies
* Strong analytical skills with a good understanding of business practice
* Understanding of accounting principles
* Advanced in Excel. Knowledge about SAP and TM1 is rewarding
* Accurate, efficient and well organized
* Open personality who likes to work in partnership with customers and colleague
* Curious and passionate about business and figures
* Languages: Swedish + English are required.
