Our client is now looking for a Buyer to be part of the Exterior System team, which includes global buyers. In this assignment, you will be involved in new purchases, be involved in securing ongoing projects and manage daily business.
The team you will be part of belongs to Exterior Procurement and they work with various components such as painted plastics, accessories, lighting, rear view mirrors and Washer/Vipers.
Assignment description
• In this assignment, you will act as the main contact for commercial matters.
• You will negotiate commercial and time consequences with suppliers linked to changes and establish agreements.
• Your assignment also includes price negotiations and ongoing production changes.
• You will participate in cross-functional teams within Engineering, Quality and Manufacturing.
• You will also drive continuous improvement activities within purchasing and suppliers.
• In this role, you will support annual commercial negotiations where the goal is to reduce cost and price in the relevant area.
• This role also includes administrative work in the form of transactions, updating price files and reporting performance.
• You will also carry out market test analyzes and benchmarking studies.
• In this assignment you will work towards individual goals.

• For this role, we are looking for you who can take on a project management role in cross-functional teams.
• High integrity is meritorious.
Language
• You have good knowledge of English, written and spoken.
