About the position:
We are now looking for a new colleague as Project Manager Technology that will join the team and take responsibility for the coordination and drive of our projects. In this role you will work together with Project Managers either from our Solutions organization or your Project Manager colleagues in the Technology organization.
You will drive and follow-up activities within the Technology organization in order to secure that our commitments in terms technical deliveries are kept. You will also secure necessary deliveries and support from our colleagues in Volvo Group Trucks Technology and Volvo Construction Equipment.
So who are you?
The profile we are looking for is someone with in depth knowledge about project management and experience of working with external partners and funding organizations. You know how to interact with and what is expected from funding organizations. You have great communication skills, including stakeholder management ability.
As this job is all about collaboration, we believe it is critical that you enjoy and believe in teamwork. We also value that you have social skills; that you are a good listener & communicator and that it's easy for you to connect with other people. As our technology area is new and we are breaking new ground with the work we do, we also believe it's important that you are not afraid of the unknown and have a curious and 'can do' attitude.
Other key competencies for the position:
Extensive experience from project management in automotive industry
Experience from embedded system development
Fluency in English
If you have relevant knowledge about industrial verticals such as mining, construction, transportation, and logistics this is something we will considered as a benefit
