hela Sverige The Physical layer test department of our client is responsible for testing the Layer 1 network signaling software. They are now looking for a skilled WCDMA Physical Layer Test Engineer to strengthen the team. Main tasks are WCDMA physical layer test analysis, test case development, test execution, fault analysis and troubleshooting, creation of test specifications and test scripts, usage of Physical Layer test equipment.
Competence
We are interested I two different competence profiles:
1. We believe that you have some or several of the following skills:
• Deep knowledge of UMTS / WCDMA / HSDPA / EUL standards in the physical layer.
• Minimum Master of Science or similar degree in relevant Telecommunication/Engineering field.
• Knowledge in working with network simulators, for example Anritsu MD8480, Agilent 8960, Rohde & Schwarz SMU200 and CMU200.
• Programming experience in C/C++ and Python.
• Digital signal processing and algorithm simulation.
• Good communication skills in spoken and written English.
2. You have:
• Recently graduated from university, minimum M.Sc. or similar within computer science, electrical engineering, engineering physics or similar. Studies within telecommunication signal processing and radio communication will be seen as a merit.
• A great technical interest.
• A deep interest in testing and solve problems.
• Programming skills, preferably experience from C programming.
We are looking for a person who's eager for knowledge, learning new things and also show a driving force when working.
Personal profile
You have a structured way of working and are a driving force. You enjoy working both independently and in small teams and good communication skills are necessary. You are analytic and methodical in your way of working. You have interest in testing, are a problem solver and are willing to learn and work both theoretically and practically.
