Are you ready to put yourself at the heart of the Mobile Broadband race? We are looking for a WCDMA 3G system designer who can work in projects from early phase to network release, translating market demands into technical solutions for implementation by our software and hardware designers. You'll be responsible for signal processing within our 3G base stations enabling higher data rates for future applications in a rapidly growing market.
Based within the Product Development Unit WCDMA RAN, you'll be working in system teams and supporting others in both understanding the system design and making sure the specifications are fulfilled. You will be working with people across various disciplines, in a company that is passionate about what they do and that constantly strives to make a difference.
Competence
You have a Master of Science, Bachelor of Science or equivalent experience, with particular reference to telecoms, computers, electrical or physics.
You can be newly-qualified or have previous experience - the role will be adapted to your profile. You should be fluent in written and spoken English, and be able to follow a technical discussion held in Swedish.
You should also have:
• General system design knowledge or at least 5 years design-related experience of a communication system
• Insight in WCDMA air interface and L1/L2-related traffic functions
• C or C++ knowledge and/or system modeling in UML
• Technical leadership skills
• Been exposed to embedded real-time systems with processors DSP and FPGA/ASIC
