As Warehouse and Distribution Customer Service Manager you will report directly to our Nordic & Eastern Europe area Warehouse and Distribution Product Head and you will be part of the local Swedish Warehouse management team.
Your main responsibility will be to ensure delivery of Damco's value proposition for the Warehousing activities, through the Customer Service team excellent customer service and operations delivery.

You will with your local market and product expertise have responsibility for driving profitability through high quality customer service and continuous improvement that supports Damco's strategy and buisness targets.

You will amongst others also:
• Lead, coach and develop the Customer Service team (5-10 direct reports).
• Supports the performance management and governance of the Warehousing portfolio.
• Supports the Commercial organization in new business opportunity pursuits.
• Actively engages with existing and new customers for their continuous support.
• Collaborates with other Damco internal Warehousing teams in product development, solution design, costing management and supplier negotiation.
• Supports the team in operational and customer emergencies and general Damco strategic projects and initiatives.
• Ensure that the workload is balanced within the team.

• Strong drive, initiative and engagement - ability to work self-directed and well-organized

• Very strong interpersonal and communication skills (including both structured and effective Swedish and English written and verbal communication.)
• 5+ years' experience from Warehousing and Distribution with in-depth product knowledge.
• Minimum 3 years' experience from people management.
• Strong customer orientation.
• A University degree within logistics and/or economics or similar educational background is an advantage.
