The Lubricants Supply Chain organization is responsible to manage our supply chain for Special Products. We work close together with suppliers, R&D, Category management and the sales organisations in all countries. We have a firm objective and strong focus to strengthen the strategic sourcing to deliver a competitive cost level and become more efficient. We have a central warehouse located in Flen supplying all the service stations and Lubricants B2B customers in Scandinavia with deliveries of packed non food goods.
We are now recruiting a Warehouse manager to Statoil Logistik in the Supply Chain organisation within Special Products. Statoil Logistik is the central warehouse for Statoils Service stations and Special Products Lubricants business to business customers in Scandinavia
Job description
The Warehouse manager will be responsible for the daily operation in Flen, with almost 70 employees working with call-off, customer service, warehouse operation and controlling. The Warehouse manager shall through a focus on warehouse operations and a continuous work with improvements regarding logistic services and total cost, secure the most competitive logistics provider (including 3PL) to Retail and Lubricants within Statoil Fuel & Retail.
There is an important objective to develop and streamline the organisation and increase the productivity in the operations to secure a strategic position in the SFR core operations. Key internal customers are the Lubricants Supply chain and Retail Service stations operations in Scandinavia. This role should be the warehouse operation specialist and logistic expert to support the overall warehouse operations set up in the European context. The Warehouse manager will benchmark the operation against 3 PL operators and out sourcing will always be an option for the Statoil Logistik business.
As a warehouse manager for Lubricants you will also be responsible for developing the external warehouses in entire Lubricants supply chain.
Required competence & experience
• Min 5 years of previous work experience in a Supply Chain role in a international company and environment
• Experience of Personnel management in warehousing operations.
• Previous 2-3 years experience in working as a Supply Chain specialist and/or warehouse operations. Experience from driving successful development and improvement of Supply chain with documented results
• Experience from successful Change management in a complex business environment
Key personal abilities & characteristics
Your role as Warehouse Manager requires strong leading skills with excellent competence in motivating people. You have good analytical skills with high competence in change management. The role demands excellent communicative and cooperative skills. To enjoy working with us and to fit into the team you need to be positive, outgoing and have a cooperative yet humble way.
The position is located in Flen ,Sweden.
