FPC is seeking an experienced test engineer to join us in developing future fingerprint wafer & production and ATE test development for mobile phones and other portable devices. FPC is a leader in the development of capacitive fingerprint sensors and designs the whole system, from advanced custom silicon devices and microelectronic packaging, to algorithms and software for fingerprint recognition and applications on the target devices.
The Role
As Wafer & Component Test Engineer you will work closely with our suppliers to develop and implement the production test. You will also participate in the design for test and evaluation of new sensors. Since our products is produced in very high volumes yield issues is an important field.
The work location is Gothenburg or Linköping as agreed between FPC and the candidate.
International travel to FPC suppliers, partners, and customers may occur.
Your Background
This role requires a Master of Science in Engineering, such as in electronics, physics, computer science or the equivalent, you can be newly graduated as well as if you have several years of occupational experience of similar fields to apply for this position. You need to be fluent in spoken and written English and not opposed to traveling abroad.
Knowledge in Mandarin is a plus but not required.
It's important that you have good communication skills to be able to establish a good relation with our suppliers and to work like an object leader how is able to make and follow up demands to our suppliers.
Success in this role requires:
• Interest or experience of work as object leader, project leader or equivalent
• Any knowledge and experience of ATE test
• Knowledge and experience in the development and implementation of production test of microelectronic components
Preference will be given to those with experience in at least some of the following areas, please name the areas in which you have experience/knowledge in your application:
• Knowledge and experience in design for test, preferable ASIC design
• Experience of volume production of microelectronics
• Experience in lab work with electrical measurements
• Knowledge and experience in analog and digital electronics, or at least one of these areas
• Knowledge of configuration of production test systems
You also have essential qualities such as being ambitious, motivated and flexible. You need to be comfortable working in a growing company, where you will be expected to assume considerable personal responsibility for your own activities and the company's success.
You have a huge interest in technique. This also requires you to be a team player who contributes to an open and positive atmosphere in the workplace.
