hela Sverige In the role as VPS manager you will be responsible to lead the Volvo Production System (VPS) implementation as well as being an important part of the plant management team. The Volvo Production System (VPS) is the main way of working with Continuous Improvement in the Volvo Group, involving all employees and aiming world class results.
You will lead a small team working directly with the teams and managers of all other functions in order to facilitate, train and coach VPS implementation and result development. You will have an important contribution to our common goal to be perceived as the leading manufacturer of axles and transmissions.
Requirements
• Leadership experience
• Extensive experience from working with lean methods
• Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent
• Proficiency in English and Swedish is a must
We believe you have an academic degree in manufacturing engineering or similar. You have at least 10 years of manufacturing experience and probably a few years in a management position, preferably from the automotive industry. You are skilled in lean manufacturing principles, a straight forward leader who value diversity and see people as the most important asset. You are good at motivating others and are willing to work hard in order to develop this plant in the direction of absolute world class. Lean production according to VPS is our way forward.
