About us
Anocca is operating at the forefront of T-cell terapy (TCR-T) development which has the potential to transform the treatment of cancer and other serious diseases. Following the company's rapid expansion in recent years, Anocca is currenly looking to strengthen its finance team.
Founded in 2014, Anocca is located in state-of-the-art R&D and manufacturing facilities in Södertälje, Sweden. Furthermore, it has a hub in Stockholm hosting parts of the software development team. Anocca has an experienced and international team of 110 scientific researchers and engineers, majority with advanced degrees and representing over 30 nationalities.
Job description
We are seeking a highly motivated VP Strategy & Corporate Development to join our team. The VP Strategy & Corporate Development will be a key contributor to the strategic development and success of Anocca. Working closely with the CEO, CFO, CDO and the wider leadership team to advance core business aspects of the company. Specifically, the role will be contributing to overall strategy formulation, financial planning, financing processes, and corporate development activities.
Position Details:
• On-site, in our Södertälje facilities
• Position is full-time, permanent
Core Scope & Responsibilities
• Contribute to strategy and business planning at a level of resolution determined by the leadership team and current needs of the organization, Board of Directors, and investors.
• Contribute to current and future equity and debt fundraising activities.
• Coordinate and participate in meetings (internal and external). Responsible for maintenance and updating of relevant databases.
• Represent Anocca as required at industry events and conferences to raise the profile of the business and create additional investor interest.
• Contribute to corporate and organizational development.
• Provide support in analysis, preparation of material to facilitate decision making.
• Take on other responsibilities, projects and activities relating to Anocca's growing business as agreed with the CFO and CDO to support the development of the company.
Other
• Contribute to the pharma and peer biotech partnering proposition for Anocca.
• Collaborate with the CFO and CDO to coordinate external initiatives and align with the leadership team to ensure alignment of external messaging, ensuring that Anocca is powerfully and consistently positioned in the immunotherapy space.
• Contribute to market intelligence, analysis and forecasting capability at Anocca.
Qualifications & Experience
• Hold a degree in finance, business, or equivalent
• Experience from auditing firm or similar corporate experience
• Excellent Written and verbal communication skills in Swedish and English
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Previous experience in life sciences is a plus
