Marshall Group is the audio, tech, and design powerhouse uniting musicians and music lovers through genre-breaking innovation. Our flagship brand, Marshall, is uniquely positioned with over 60 years of rock 'n' roll attitude on stage, at home, and on the go. Our iconic products are brought to life by a dedicated team of 800 passionate employees and sold in over 90 markets worldwide.

We need to strengthen our leadership team with a VP Strategy, who will own Marshall Group's corporate strategy and help shape the next chapter of our growth. You will lead our end-to-end strategy process, from long-range planning and competitive intelligence to portfolio decisions and growth initiatives. Working closely with the CEO and executive team, you will translate ambition into clear, executable direction across our brand and product portfolio. You will report directly to the CEO.

Corporate Strategy
Own the annual and multi-year strategy cycle, formalising the company's strategic planning processes and facilitating alignment across the executive team.
Develop and maintain a clear point of view on Marshall Group's competitive positioning, actively tracking industry trends and market dynamics across audio, consumer electronics, and lifestyle.
Analyse the efficacy of existing strategies and course-correct as internal and external conditions evolve.
Ensure strategic alignment across all business units, walking into any part of the organisation and testing whether decisions are working towards the company's goals.

Growth and Portfolio Development
Identify and evaluate organic and inorganic growth opportunities across brands, categories, and geographies, from amplification and headphones to adjacent lifestyle and entertainment spaces.
Build robust business cases that drive investment and resource allocation decisions at Group level, balancing customer value, commercial impact, and operational feasibility.
Explore new business areas and partnership models that strengthen Marshall's ecosystem and expand how fans connect with our brands.

M&A and Partnerships
Lead the strategic evaluation of M&A targets and partnership opportunities, conducting comprehensive assessments of strategic fit, financial performance, and risk.
Lead negotiations and structuring of transactions, including valuation, deal terms, and integration planning, working with Finance and Legal throughout.

Cross-functional Leadership
Act as a thought partner to business unit leaders, forging new working relationships and helping to sharpen strategies and navigate complex trade-offs.
Establish greater transparency and accountability for those carrying out the company's strategy, engendering genuine commitment to the plan across all teams.
Communicate strategic direction clearly to senior stakeholders, the Board, and external partners, explaining the ins, outs, and whys, and securing buy-in at every level.

Who you are
You are a strategic leader who combines rigorous analytical thinking with the ability to inspire and align people around a clear direction. You are comfortable operating at the most senior levels of an organisation and can move fluidly between big-picture vision and the granular detail of a business case. A genuine passion for music and culture matters as much as your commercial acumen.
You probably have the following experiences and skills
Significant experience in strategy, either from a top-tier consultancy or an in-house strategy function at a global consumer brand.
A proven track record of leading, developing, and executing integrated strategies, from concept through to measurable outcomes.
Experience in consumer electronics, lifestyle, or a closely adjacent sector.
Strong financial and analytical skills, including comfort with business case development, long-range modelling, and M&A evaluation.
Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with experience presenting to C-suite and Board level.

Our pledge
We strive to foster an inclusive workplace and we do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, disability, colour, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age or marital status. We firmly believe that Marshall thrives when our employees do, leading to better experiences for our consumers.
