We are a next-gen energy company leveraging AI and machine learning to make renewable energy stable and always available – even when the sun isn't shining and the wind isn't blowing.
Through smart optimization and trading of energy assets like wind and solar farms, battery systems, and EV chargers, we make renewable energy reliable and predictable, leading the charge towards the energy system of tomorrow.
🌟Who We Are Tech company at heart. Purpose-driven at core. Flower consists of a diverse group of innovative individuals with a strong desire to improve the state of the world.
At Flower, we believe trust, collaboration and diversity are essential to not only create an inclusive work environment, but also drive career growth. By embracing varying perspectives, we allow creativity and progress to flourish.
To accelerate towards our goal of becoming the pioneering force powering the energy system of tomorrow, we are now looking for a commercially driven and strategic VP of Project Delivery & Operations.
👩💻 About The Role: Flower develops, builds and operates utility-scale BESS assets across Sweden, Germany, France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Austria. As our portfolio moves from development into construction and operation, we're bringing EPC and Asset Management together in a new division, Project Delivery & Operations and we're looking for the leader who will build it.
In this senior leadership role, you'll unite the two functions into one scalable, end-to-end offering across the full project and asset lifecycle, delivering for Flower's own portfolio and growing it into a commercial offering for external customers. You'll set the division's long-term direction, shape how we show up in the BESS and renewable energy market and turn that direction into commercial success.
As a core member of the management team, you'll own the division's strategy and market positioning, as well as the P&L for Flower's asset portfolio: 200 MWh in operation today and another 1.1 GWh ready-to-build. You'll also help shape company-wide priorities, lead leaders across both functions and build a team that is as strong in front of customers as it is in delivery.
What You'll Do:
Define and own the long-term strategy for Project Delivery & Operations
Lead through managers - Head of EPC & Head of Asset Management
Integrate EPC and Asset Management into one coherent growth platform, grounded in market and customer insight
Own the P&L for the division and Flower's asset portfolio, providing clear financial reporting and forecasting to the management team and board
Turn our in-house EPC and Asset Management capabilities into a clear, differentiated offering for external BESS owners and developers, across the full asset lifecycle
Drive strong cost management across construction and operations: capex and opex control, accurate cost-to-complete forecasting and continuous cost-down through procurement and standardization
Play a central role in project financing and investor processes, ensuring our EPC and O&M setup is bankable, working closely with lenders, investors and their technical advisors through due diligence
Develop scalable commercial models, pricing frameworks and service models that support repeatable growth without a proportional increase in complexity or cost
Own the commercial agenda: build senior customer relationships, identify opportunities and close deals
Contribute to company-wide priorities as a member of the management team, ensuring the division is aligned with Flower's overall strategy
Who You Are:
You have a proven track record in a senior commercial leadership role, ideally within renewable energy, BESS, energy infrastructure or other project-driven sectors
You're an experienced people leader, used to leading through managers and bringing teams together across the organisation
Master's degree in Engineering, Business or a related field
You have taken service offerings or business models to market, with a strong instinct for what customers value and how to package and price it
Experience of cost control in capital-intensive projects, supporting project financing, technical due diligence or investor processes
You've developed and executed divisional or business-unit strategy, and know how to turn market opportunity into a structured plan
You're strongly commercial, motivated by growth and comfortable owning a P&L
You have a solid understanding of EPC project delivery and/or asset operations, enough to engage credibly with customers and technical teams (deep technical expertise is not required)
You've built senior customer relationships and driven growth in complex, long-cycle businesses
