The Role
We are looking for a visionary VP of Product to take the helm of our product strategy as we scale from a scanning hardware company to a global data and personalization platform.
You will lead a talented team of Product Managers and Product Designers, and ensure alignment between our world-class engineering team (Computer Vision, AI, Full Stack) and our commercial goals. You will define how we create value with our data, how we expand our mobile solutions, and how we create seamless value for both retailers and consumers.
We are looking for a VP of Product who can lead with global ambition, sharp execution, and a deep sense of ownership. You'll join a tight-knit leadership team working closely to shape the next decade of the company.
What you will do:
Define the Vision: Own the short-term execution and long-term strategy of the Volumental product suite.
Lead & Scale: Manage, mentor, and grow a high-performing Product and Design team. Foster a culture of product excellence, user-centricity, and data-driven decision-making.
Master the B2B2C Dynamic: Balance the needs of our direct customers (global retailers and brands) with the needs of the end-user (the shopper).
Innovate on Data: Your job is to figure out how to leverage our unique data to create new revenue streams and features (e.g., personalized marketing, manufacturing insights).
Cross-Functional Orchestration: collaborate closely with the CCO to visit customers, align product launches with market demands and with
Who you are: A Strategic Storyteller: You can distill complex technologies (Computer Vision/AI) into a compelling product narrative that excites brands and consumers.
Customer-Focused: You'll hit the road several times a year to meet customers in major global markets such as Tokyo, New York, London, Berlin, and beyond. You'll use these firsthand insights to shape products that win worldwide.
Experienced Leader: You have 8+ years in Product Management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role (Head of Product, VP, or CPO) within a scaling tech company.
Hardware + Software Mindset: While you don't need to be a hardware engineer, you understand the complexities of shipping physical products combined with SaaS platforms.
Retail/E-commerce Savvy: Love of retail, e-commerce is a plus. You understand the friction points of modern shopping.
Data-Driven: You are comfortable with analytics and use data to validate hypotheses, but you also trust your product intuition when innovating.
