We hope you'll agree with us that we have only just scratched the surface of what is yet to come in commerce, and we are now looking for a VP of Engineering to lead and grow our development team and platform to help propel Centra into the global arena.
The team currently consists of eight talented engineers but we want to strengthen and grow the team further under your lead, and you will have plenty of room and support to define, shape and evolve all the processes and practices that are needed for the team to grow and work efficiently.

WE BELIEVE YOU HAVE A SOLID BACKGROUND IN:
• Leading, managing and transforming engineering teams
• Leading technical change and evolving a platform to the next level in terms architecture, refactoring, testing, quality, and performance
• Bridging development and operations; standardizing and automating deployments, infrastructure management, and monitoring
• Handling and prioritizing multiple simultaneous projects in dialogue with product managers and stakeholders
• Eliminating waste, legacy, and recurring friction and problems
• Computer science, university degree or similar, although experience speaks for itself
OUR CURRENT STACK:
• PHP v5.3+ and some Node.js
• MariaDB and MySQL, Nginx, Ubuntu
• Heroku, AWS, and Digital Ocean
• Git and Github
• The usual suspects; HTML5, CSS, Sass and JavaScript
• REST and SOAP (it's not our fault...really) based API's

We offer an advanced centralized view on customer, product and order data along with backend and storefront REST APIs allowing customers to integrate Centra?s commerce engine into any frontend technology. We daily challenge ourselves to keep a visionary approach in our work and we were recently awarded an innovation grant from Vinnova to reinvent how product data is handled in the network era.
