Vice President Group Compliance
Atlas Copco AB is now recruiting an international business lawyer to be Vice President Group Compliance. The position will be located at Atlas Copco Group Center in Nacka, Sweden, and reporting to our Group General Counsel.
Main Activities and Responsibilities
• Overseeing, managing and providing strategic direction for compliance functions globally and being a member of the Compliance Board.
• Identifying areas of compliance risks and proposing processes to reduce/mitigate such risks.
• Acting as project leader in implementing new compliance processes and changes to existing processes.
• Coordinating with other Group functions reviews and audits of our entities’ compliance with internal policies, laws and regulations as well as participating in due diligence investigations of presumptive acquisition candidates.
• Managing the Group Hotline, instigating investigations as appropriate, and providing direction to develop and implement corrective actions.
Your profile
University degree in law. Experience from working with typical compliance areas such as anti-trust, corruption, trade sanctions and other trade related issues from a corporate perspective, including implementation of appropriate processes. Substantial experience, at least 10 years, of general corporate commercial issues and project management from law firm and/or an in-house legal position. Experience of working in an international environment and within different legal areas. Fluency in English and reasonable command of Swedish. Business oriented team player with a practical approach. High integrity but still service minded with a low key attitude. Availability and interest to travel. Interest in and understanding of technical matters is an advantage.
You will work closely with the Atlas Copco Group Legal team in Stockholm. The position will give you the freedom to develop and the responsibility to grow in an international environment.
