VP, Engineering Operations
Reporting to the CTO, Thinfilm's VP Engineering Operations will be responsible for clean room activities at our Linköping, Sweden development and production facility.
Thinfilm is planning to start pilot manufacturing of printed components and systems, including Thinfilm memory, printed transistors and discretes. Production methods include gravure printing, slot-die coating, screen-printing, and other scalable, manufacturing-compatible processes.
The VP Engineering Operations will be responsible for procurement of equipment for the scale up of the current fabrication to larger volumes, and will have overall responsibility for the installation, safe operation, and maintenance of clean room production equipment used in process development and pilot production.
Experience and formal qualifications in engineering and clean room operation are highly relevant. We also look for and value personal initiative, the ability to work independently and in teams, and demonstrated English-language communication skills.
Requirements:
• Ms Sc engineering
• 3 years team management experience
• Clean room operation experience required
• Experience in procuring and setting up processing equipment
• Proficiency in both English and at least one Scandinavian language
