We are seeking a VP, Engineering & Technology for the Global Pulp & Paper area. This role will lead the Global Pulp & Paper Engineering & Technology function. This position will be located in Sweden, Helsingborg, is eligible for hybrid work and will report to the President, Pulp & Paper Segment.

Your responsibilities will include:

Establish and build strong senior level client relationships with strategic key accounts
Further develop and retain customer relationships to build long-term profitable partnerships
Oversee all segment technology matters in cooperation with segment manufacturing.* Lead segment engineering and technology roadmap, activities, and projects that have a large impact on the current and future products and services.
Drive development of process technology.
Provide insight on technology trends and benchmarking to serve as input for manufacturing and engineering strategy. Analyze technology, resource needs, and market demand, to plan and assess the feasibility of engineering requirements.
Develop and implement policies and set technology strategies, plans, agendas, standards and procedures for the engineering and technical departments. Lead the development of engineering specifications and procedures to enable cross-functional workflow.
Provide and prepare segment management with technology related information impacting business planning, budgeting and decision making.
Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making at the segment level.
Contribute to M&A, and major investment case evaluation and valuation, and R&D steering.
Support Segment President in all technology related matters with analyses, reports and presentations.
Proactively build high-performing organization and secure required competencies, succession plans for future and today's business needs
Contribute to strategic planning and decision making at segment management level
Contribute to M&A and major investment case evaluation and execution
Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance

What you'll bring to the team:
§ Master of Business Administration, Master of Science, or other relevant degree
§ 10+ years of relevant senior leadership experience
§ 10+ years of previous relevant Commercial business leadership experience with P&L responsibility for +250M
§ 10+ years of relevant experience of working in an international organization
§ Extensive relevant business knowledge, especially pulp and paper chemicals market
