Job Summary
Ownership of the global forecasting processes, both short term (S&OP) and long term (TMF and LRF). Optimising global volumes, mix and price across all products and all regions. Gathering, analysis and reporting of global actuals regarding volumes, stock, sales, price realization, margins, total market, market shares. Ensure efficient processes and system tools for all HQ and regional commercial management areas. BI data collection, analysis and reporting.
• Global S&OP ownership across all product lines, Regions and Factories:
• Running DPR, CR, QC
• Reporting to Exec S&OP and EMT
• Mix and volume allocation
• S&OP KPI ownership
• VCE representation in the Volvo Demand Council
• Ownership S&OP process tools and systems
• Ensure cross functional processes between S&M and OPS in the following areas: Order rule book, Scos input in pricing tool,
• Ensure efficient process, execution and reporting of Total Market and Long Range Forecast
• Chairing/ownership of the Tier IV Flex council, driving cross-functional activities and follow up to ensure VCE compliance to the Stage IIIB/Tier IV flex legislation in Europe and NA
• Ownership of the Strategic Objective pipeline months supply finished goods by developing the calculation logic, target setting, follow up of projects with Regions
• Standardized and specific reporting and analysis to all stakeholders
• Price and Price realization
• Margin, Gross profit
• Volumes (total market, market share, VCE volumes, stock)
• Set up and coordinate Exec Margin Analysis Council
• Driving/coordinating margin improvement projects in the S&M regions
• Business Intelligence:
• Monitoring, analysis and reporting of industry and macro-economic trends
• Relations with the CE Industry through the CECE and the ISC (Inter-Continental Statistical Committee)
Required Knowledge, Skills & Experience
• Leadership experience
• Significant S&OP experience
• Background in Finance in a commercial context (Sales Region, Dealer, etc.) Understanding dealer/region operations
• Communication and influencing skills to successfully work in a cross-functional and cross-border organisation
• Ability to succinctly and precisely present complex data and results in a correct and understandable way to different stakeholders
• Structured and process-oriented way of working with a strong drive to continuously challenge and improve
