hela Sverige Group Treasury & Corporate Finance has the responsibility to provide efficient and effective financial infrastructure, capital management and capital structure, funding of Group operations, non-life insurance cover, pension debt related asset management and external relationships within the financial area for the Group.
Market Operations has the centralized responsibility of the Group's funding operations and portfolio management of all financial assets and liabilities. The debt portfolio is divided into two portfolios, one for Industrial Operations and one for Financial Services, to correspond to the needs of the different operations. The Group has geographically diversified market funding programs and the outstanding debt portfolio amounts in total to around SEK 130 bln. The function is also responsible for the Group's liquidity operations and management and execution of group FX exposures and flows.
As head of Market Operations you will lead a team of 7 persons based in Gothenburg and also steer and coordinate the functions operations managed by the Treasury offices in Singapore, Beijing, Greensboro and Curitiba.
You will be based at Group Treasury in Gothenburg and report to VP, Head of Treasury Risk Management.
Main Activities and Responsibilities
Manage and organize the function Market Operations with a strategic mindset for the future
Assure highly efficient and diversified global funding sources for the Group, that are both flexible and accessible, assuring the Groups global payment capability
Develop Strategies for the global funding operation as well as for the risk management of the debt and foreign exchange portfolios
Assure a highly efficient management of the groups daily liquidity operations globally
Assure efficient FX execution of commercial deals through Groups netting and hedging programs
Strategizing and analyzing in order for the function to add value to the Group by actively utilizing the delegated risk mandates
Negotiations with the Groups banks and other external counterparties
Continually inspire, develop and motivate the colleagues within the function
Promote and develop the culture to assure a strong image of the unit and being in line with Volvo Group values and principles

Critical Competences for the position
As the Head of Market Operations you hold strong and proven leadership skills from leading in a global organization and in managing change. You have proven excellent ability within financial risk management and a broad understanding of needs arising in a Global Group. You are strong in managing ambiguity and have an ability to deal constructively with areas that do not have a clear solution or outcome. Furthermore, you have high quality in decision making and very strong negotiation skills.
You possess strong interpersonal skills with a high degree of integrity and flexibility. You have an ability to network effectively with external counterparts as well as across the organization and to build enduring relationships across functional and geographical areas.
