Apply Noise & Vibration simulation methods in predicting Noise emitted by various sources (e.g. Hydraulics, engine, Driveline, Axles, Cooling fan etc)
Proficient in Finite element analysis theory, Boundary Element Analysis theory, Statistical Energy Analysis theory, their concepts and application in Product development
Practice, Source, Path, Receiver concepts, in Product development
Application of Transfer Path Analysis techniques in identifying critical paths that contribute to excessive noise levels
Core Responsibilities:
Minimum Years of Experience Required:
A minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience in using simulation tools to predict Noise & Vibration criteria
A tleast 4 years of experience in Hydraulics system simulation
Knowledge of optimization theory and its application in product development
MSc ME or higher education is preferable
Minimum Education Required:
At least 5 to 6 years of experience in LMS Virtual.Lab, Nastran, Ansys, LMS Test.Lab, MATLAB
Qualifications:
Proficient in recommending appropriate acoustic material based on the frequency range of the issue.
Solid understanding on Structure borne and Air borne noise sources and typical enablers to reduce those sources.
Interpret results of NVH simulation and provide design recommendations to mitigate risk from excessive noise levels.
Understand the strengths and limitations of simulation tools during the process of results interpretation
Correlation of simulation results with Physical measurements
Solid understanding of driveline systems and the sources of noise & vibration in driveline systems.
