Volvo Car Corporation - Graduate Programme
The Graduate Programme will last for three years and will provide you with a unique opportunity to develop within the automotive industry. Volvo Car Corporation offers you a position, where you will be given opportunities for both in-depth and practical experience in your profession.
Aside from the day to day learning activities within your regular job, there will be opportunities for development in common modules for all participants.
Areas included in these modules are for example:

• Leadership
At the beginning of the programme, you will be assigned a mentor who will follow you throughout the programme. All participants will also receive a development plan that will form the basis for each individual's personal and professional development.

Manufacturing
Volvo Cars Manufacturing is responsible for the production for all Volvo Cars, including powertrain and body components. Production is based at wholly-owned, as well as satellite plants and joint-venture units.
Volvo Cars Body Components specialises in forming and joining technologies for automotive body components in metallic materials, with production units in Olofström and Gothenburg. Volvo Cars Engine has machining and assembling of petrol and diesel engines in Skövde and production of bradediscs, connection rods and hub units in Floby. The assembly plants are situated in Torslanda and Gent, Belgium. There are also plants in Malaysia and China.
In addition to the production units Volvo Cars Manufacturing also contains Manufacturing Engineering, responsible for the technical processes within the units, and Material Planning and Logistics, responsible for material planning, logistic solutions and OtD process.
Requirements
A prerequisite for joining the programme is that you have achieved a Bachelor or Masters degree, within the last three years, within Technique, Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, Automation, Logistics, Industrial Economy or equivalent.
Other qualifiers are personal characteristics such as:
• Integrity, courage and personal energy
• Openness to change
• Inclusiveness
• Good judgment
• Business orientation
• An interest and ability to lead individuals and groups
Language Skills:
• Excellent English skills, verbally and in writing
• Some positions will require Swedish, both written and spoken.
Since Volvo Cars operates globally, it is advantageous if you have multiple culture experience.
