Vehicle Module Team Manager with Line Manager responsibility for Electrical & Electronics
The function Product Range Management, Key Account Volvo Trucks (PRM VTC) is responsible for managing all projects and product maintenance for Volvo Trucks. We are today ~90 people on four different sites, Gothenburg, Lyon, Greensboro and Curitiba.
Our present VMT Manager has decided to take up a position at Volvo Powertrain North America and we are now looking for a successor for this challenging position in a very dynamic and change driven organization, always challenging the status quo.
Tasks and responsibilities:
The main tasks for the VMT Line Manager are to:
• Manage the resources of the modules
• The VMT Quality Managers
• The VMT Projetc Managers
• Be ultimately responsible for module content delivered to start cost projects and maintenance activities being in line with committed targets in terms of QDCF
• Lead cross-functional management team (VMT core team) to secure decisions, resources and deliveries
• Secure clear, committed and challenging QDCF contracts between VMT core team and projects as well as yearly maintenance contracts concerning quality and cost improvement
• Establish close co-operation with corresponding VMT in Lyon and continental US
• Secure implementation of decided cross-functional strategies in all module activities
Profile and qualifications:
• Strong proven leadership capabilities
• Wide network established within various parts of 3P as well as VTC
• Drive to improve and increase cross-functional ways of working
• Experience within Electrical and Electronics areas
• Project management experience
• Positive and change driving attitude
• University degree in relevant subject
