The DeLaval Automatic milking system VMS/V300 is produced in the Tumba Factory as a sequenced product, and has been so for some time. The production line, as part of the whole factory has an award-winning efficiency and is constantly aiming to become even better. We are now looking for a VMS Planner who will be responsible for receiving VMS-orders, create the main planning for the VMS production flow and prepare all shipment for the VMS. Included in this role is also an expectation to assist the other functions in the team such as Master Planner and Procurement.

VMS Planner for the Tumba Factory

This is a temporary position with very good opportunity to be permanent.

Key responsibilities:

• Receive and process VMS-orders
• Create Master Plan for the VMS production on a yearly basis
• Supply the VMS production with the proper operative planning on a daily basis
• Create shipping documents for the VMS, as well as be the main contact for the transportation companies.
• Support and be a short-term replacement for the operational procurement in the factory.
• Work with projects affecting the VMS planning in the Tumba Factory.

Your qualifications:

• Bachelor degree or higher within relevant areas for the role
• Experience of planning within Manufacturing industry or similar
• Good knowledge of: SAP and Microsoft Excel
• Experience of the following will be considered a plus:

• LEAN Manufacturing

The successful candidate should also:

• Be goal oriented and have a structured way of approaching challenges
• Take initiatives and be accustomed to work in groups as well as independently
• Be advanced in Swedish & English, writing as well as speaking
