We are looking for a strong and dedicated person, who will show passion and enthusiasm for working in our F-3 team. Responsibilities include teaching Sport/Physical Education, SO (Religious Education, History, Geography, and Social Studies/Citizenship) and NO (Biology, Chemistry and Physics), and working as an extra resource. You will also work as an after-school (fritids) supervisor. You will preferably have outdoor-education skills. It is an advantage if you have an interest in music. We would prefer you to be a qualified teacher, but, most importantly, you should have the right personal characteristics that we are looking for.
You enjoy working in a team and see yourself as a team player. It is important that you keep good order and that you work well in situations of conflict. You are flexible, able to cope with stress, and see opportunities where others see problems.
It is preferable that you have English as your first language but you must also be able to understand and make yourself understood in Swedish.

What we offer:
Vittra Lidingö started in 1998 on the island of Lidingö, Stockholm. Today the school has approximately 300 children and students from preschool up to Grade 9. We have 30 dedicated and highly trained educators who work together to make a highly efficient team.
At Vittra Lidingö the English speaking educators speak only English on a day to day basis, and the Swedish educators speak Swedish. This means that the children in our care have an excellent environment for learning both languages in a natural way. By car you are going against those travelers who are heading into town, so you don't get stuck in long queues. By underground, you take the red line to Ropsten and then take the 203 Larsberg bus (Stop: Källängstorget) which takes about ten minutes and stops a few minutes walk away from the school.
