In fact, during the very first year of business, the brand gained customers from 100 countries and until today the brand is present, apart from two retail stores and worldwide online store, in more than 90 selected stores all over the world.

Now Axel Arigato is looking for a creative, talented and experienced visual merchandiser to join us for a full-time position.

The Visual Merchandiser is a position that will be very central to continue the journey where Axel Arigato has a unique power to remain on top of the fast-paced and rapidly changing world where international expansion is a key target.

Job description

The Visual Merchandiser will be primarily responsible for planning and manage the execution of our visual strategy in both Axel Arigato retail stores and pop-up's as well as wholesale spaces and showrooms. This is a dynamic, fast-paced and creative role reporting directly to the CMO of the company.

The Visual Merchandiser's responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Create permanent and seasonal visual merchandising guidelines in line with business and brand strategy and in consultation with both Brand and Marketing team
• Ensure the consistency and quality of the visual merchandising implementation in stores globally. Support the business strategy and contribute to enhancing the customer experience in store
• Create store and window concepts, overview window rotations, production and coordinate with international and local suppliers for the installation
• Draft, sketch and implement new store spaces, pop-up's and corners
• Research and order new visual set up
• Visit Axel Arigato stores and point-of-sales to assist with rotations or window installs. During these visits be the ambassador in store for visual merchandising, demonstrating a genuine passion and strong enthusiasm
• Share qualitative and photographic feedback after each visit
• Collaborate with marketing team on events both in stores and off-site
• Consistently seek new and creative ideas
• Be an ambassador for the Axel Arigato brand with an ability to understand how to best communicate the traits of the brand

Qualifications

• 5 + years' experience working in retail
• Passion for form, colors, and materials
• Established industry working relationships
• Familiarity negotiating prices
• Strong problem-solving and creative skills
• Proactive, product-forward focus
• Exceptional time management skills, including the ability to prioritize, manage and meet multiple deadlines
• Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail
• Results driven, energetic and resourceful
• Proficient knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
• Proficient knowledge of SketchUp, Rhino or another 3D program
