hela Sverige Microsoft is looking for a experienced Visual Designer for our office in Lund, Sweden.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with the UI team to create high-fidelity mockups and beautiful, game ready art assets. . Master a range of tools and partner with developers to integrate UI assets into the product. . Work closely with Design, User Research, and Developers to iterate on best solutions to unique UI challenges. . Work comfortably from Low-Fi to High-Fi to visualize ideas and produce high quality work quickly with several rounds of iteration in pursuit of the best design solution. . Identify and articulate new visual design solutions that can adapt across multiple products . Assist in the production of best-practice guides, vision demos, and prototypes which establish and drive product-wide concepts, brand narratives, and experience value propositions. . Document design decisions for consumption by the broader visual design studio team, as well as key partner teams, internal and external. . Work iteratively in the build with developers, building and tuning UX to drive to high quality experiences.
Needed qualifications:
Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in visual/graphic and UX / interaction design for digital products and devices, including apps, games, tools or equivalent . Portfolio demonstrating an original, keen eye for visual design principles (typography, layout, grid systems, hierarchy, color, composition) across platforms, including motion graphics . Passion for invention, human computer interaction, and seamless user experiences . Cross-functional communications skills - communicate and interact effectively within a team environment, and work collaboratively . The ability to wear many hats and contribute across disciplines, be adaptable to quickly changing requests and requirements . Experience working on a multi-disciplinary team of designers and developers . Knowledge of user-centered design approaches and interaction design best practices . Strong brainstorming skills, from participation to leadership . The ability to reduce complex concepts to understandable, actionable tasks . Extreme attention to detail . Exceptional organizational skills - You can multitask and don't allow things to fall through the cracks . Strong knowledge of Adobe CC products . Degree in graphic design, or a related field - Strong typographic and visual design skills Illustration and 3D skills are very helpful but not required - Strong visual communication skills are, however, important
