Business Analyst
We have a challenging opportunity for an ambitious and motivated Business Analyst to join one of our product development teams in R&D. We are expanding in and need more qualified people on board! As Business Analyst in the Payroll team you will be the connection between the users and the developers, defining highly efficient solutions for our users. You will work with new on demand applications; analyzing business processes, refining requirement specifications, test, 3rd line support and coordination within the team and across R&D. Our development team works in projects tightly collaborated with product owners and customers using Agile methodology.
The Payroll team is currently in charge of building a SaaS solution, and will be a central part of future development of similar solutions.
Responsibilities
You will be working with new and existing functionality, as well as quality assurance and deployment of applications. Usability, performance and stability are key words. This work involves:
• Manage and coordinate product innovation in the fields of on demand solutions.
• Capturing, analyzing and transforming requirements into system functions.
• Writing and validating requirements.
• Verifying that implemented features fulfill the requirements.
• Quality Management.
• Documentation (DITA).
• Supporting our partner service department (3rd line support).
Qualifications and skills
We are looking for a person with a Master’s or bachelor’s degree in either business/economics or computer science. You are structured, team-oriented and genuinely interested in software development.
• Experience within the following areas will be considered an advantage:
• Focus on usability and the ability to understand and analyze customer needs.
• Experience with UML (BPMN a plus)
• Experience managing and analyzing requirements (requirements modeling)
• Familiar with modeling tools (Enterprise Architect, IBM Rational, etc...) a plus
• Experience with software services for the business segment.
• Experience with software development.
• Project management.
• Technical know-how.
• Quality Management.
• Specific domain knowledge within the areas Visma operates.
• Good spoken and written English.
