The "Dassault PLM Portfolio" group within Volvo IT are responsible for the management and support of the PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) system, through a product supplied by Dassault Systems. Since we are working in one of the Volvo Groups' key areas and have a number of large, exciting challenges ahead of us, we foresee the need to reinforce our team with a person who is looking to develop both themselves and our deliveries in this area.
Job Description
This work includes providing customer support during their use of the production planning system - (Dassault Systems - DELMIA) towards effective production planning. Supporting users in their daily work, analysing how new and changing demands can be handled by the system, making necessary changes in the application environment and set-up in order to make the system to perform as expected and providing potential system change requests to the supplier, Dassault Systems.
Since both the system and our customers' requirements are changing, it is important that applicants have a desire to work with problem solving, enjoy a challenge and have the ability to take on new information quickly.
Required Competences
We require that you have a theoretical background from a high school / university or the equivalent. Your command of written and spoken English is very good and you have the ability and desire to formulate solutions on paper. You should also enjoy working in close co-operation with both customers and the supplier in order to prepare those solutions. You should also feel comfortable in creating, modifying changes in the installation set-up and VB-scripts.
It would be an advantage if you have experience within the Production Planning Process, perhaps as a production planer or some similar role and has a desire to work more with the application. You should have a general PLM background and a few years? experience working with a VM system. Experience of DELMIA would be a great advantage.
As we work in close co-operation with our customers, you will be required to make use of your educational knowledge during meetings with users.
