Are you ready to manage Epiroc's global supply chain for spare parts, consumables and attachments, which represents approximately 70% of Epiroc's business, - As Vice President Supply Chain, you will get the chance to do just that!
Operationally a Parts & Service division (PSD) Supply Chain Board, including Helena Hedblom, CEO, and other key decision-makers and stakeholders within the Group, governs the Supply Chain. In the role of VP Supply Chain, you will report to the President of Parts & Service division (PSD).
As VP Supply Chain, you will be responsible for implementing and managing a cost-efficient, global excellent supply chain with the required capabilities to drive high customer service and support Epiroc's growth. Responsibilities include global distribution operations in seven regions and global process ownership for order management, transportation, distribution, master data management and trade compliance.
Your mission
Your mission as VP Supply Chain will be divided into four focus areas; Strategy and Performance, Operations Management, Supply chain transformation and Master data governance and Trade compliance.
In regards to strategy and performance, you will be responsible to iimplement and own Epiroc's global supply chain vision and strategy as well as evolve supply chain performance targets aligned with divisional business strategies. You will guide supply chain excellence across the organization and ensure external consistency with business objectives and internal consistency among all supply chain functions. You will also be responsible for pushing needed organizational change and ensure appropriate tracking and controlling of performance, based on relevant KPIs.
In the focus area of operations management, you should ensure high end-customer satisfaction as well as manage global supply chain organization and distribution operations in all seven supply chain regions to achieve high end-customer satisfaction, cost, inventory and obsolescence targets. You will own and develop key supply chain processes including warehousing, logistics, order management and fulfilment. The role requires close work with Customer Centres (CC), sourcing and other divisions to ensure full alignment of goals and actions.
For Supply chain transformation, you will be inspiring change in a multi-stakeholder environment with a decentralized set up. This includes implementation of performance-oriented management culture to streamline a global distribution footprint, all to develop the global supply chain organization to a high-performance organization.
You will also manage the master data and trade compliance organizations to improve master data quality and ensure trade compliance. This includes development of an action plan to reduce costs.
Your profile
We see that you have a master degree in engineering, science or equivalent. MBA is preferable. This role requires strong English communication skills both verbal and in writing. Swedish is beneficial as well. You have 15 - 20 years' experience of successful professional career development.
We believe you have known experience of successfully managing global supply chains involving distribution, planning and sourcing for a leading industrial product company. You obtain first-hand experience in operations management and lean management experience as well as experience in a large-scale organizational change. We also believe you are an effective multi-stakeholder when it comes to communication, including CEO and business-leader levels of organizations and able to quickly summarize insights and drive towards recommended actions. You can effectively build and motivate teams in challenging situations by setting clear goals with achievable deliverables that create accountability. You are comfortable working in a multi-cultural environment
Location and travel
To be defined, in one of our Supply Chain regions: EMENA, Örebro; AFR, Johannesburg; NAM; Garland/Allen; SAM, Chile; RUCA, Moscow APAC/AUS, Perth/Singapore.
The ability to travel is required.
