Nasdaq makes the most of market movements by bringing together infrastructure, tools and strategic insight. As VP you are an integral part of management, leading teams in both delivery and support related to high level technologies and services to a range of industries. You 'll manage 5 - 6 direct reports on the Director level which in turn manage 60 people, working in diverse functional teams.

You will
Your overall responsibility is to charge the department and clients into a new digital era with products and offerings, aligned with new ways of working. Your 5-6 Director-lead teams - residing in Stockholm, Vilnius, and Denver - are encompassing the functional areas of Development, QA/Test, requirements, and project management- all related to 3 products where the mission is to merge those into one onwards. Within the organization of Global Technology you will act as a hands-on change leader, coaching and inducing this transformation with your internal team players. This includes the department customer success and product within Market Technology as well as working with external clients in order to come up with the optimal solutions and the utmost business value for all.
Your approach is business-centric, and your perspective include expediating good prerequisites for your managers and the department. You manage your own management-group and partake in the global tech management-board. In the leadership group you are part of driving the creation of innovative solutions, adhering to guidelines and regulations.
You are
• You are a seasoned leader, with an estimated 5-10 years of formal executive experience within engineering
• You are well acquainted with agile practices and modern ways of working
• You are accustomed to furthering solutions, understanding needs, and meeting intricate expectations from various stakeholders and clients
• You have a proven background from large IT software project deliveries
• You have experience of client deliverables
It is considered an advantage should you have industry experience or a lineage of taking on new industries with zest. Knowledge of financial domains, e.g. an understanding of reporting and regulatory demands is also a merit, as is a familiarity of mission critical systems. You are proficient in English.
