We are looking for an experienced leader to lead our Service Market Technology function within Volvo Buses. As challenges are waiting for us around the corner it is important that you are innovative, change oriented and have strong implementation skills.
Who are we?
Service Market Technology is one of the functions within Global Bus Technology (GBT) within Volvo Buses. The responsibility entails providing technical solutions for the service market needs. Solutions span from service market training to spare parts assortment including repair procedures, bus support center, diagnostics and driver handbook. The function is approx. 140 colleagues with a geographical footprint in Sweden, Poland, Mexico, and Brazil. Additionally, there is strong cooperation with Group Trucks Technology in India.
In addition to leading your own management team, you will be a member of the GBT management team and report to the Senior Vice President for GBT.
The main task in this important role is to:
You are in the driving seat to develop the organization and the people to support future challenges contributing to Volvo Buses profitability.
Who are we looking for?
We want you to have extensive experience from leadership positions within product development or service market. You have a Master's degree in engineering or equivalent. Since we believe that communication is one of the most important tasks we have as leaders, we want you to have great communication skills in English, verbal and written. Experience from Lean in Product Development will be a great asset into this position.
We believe that you are a Business oriented leader with a clear customer focus and a genuine interest in technology, products and services. You have a passion for developing effective teams as you are applying inclusive leadership and see the importance of diversity within the team. You work in a systematic way and can handle a complex and fast changing environment. However, you also like to finish up what you have started. You understand the importance of clear communication and you encourage people take pride in being responsible for their deliveries.
