We are responsible for the entire property lifecycle, from acquisition to divestment. We optimize the use and value of the Volvo Group's facilities, owned and leased. We act as a center of expertise, generating economies of skills and scale in the real estate area. We are approximately 350 employees supporting Volvo Group in 60 countries worldwide. Our property footprint consists of some 1000 sites, both leased and owned. We manage all types of properties: dealers, workshops, offices, warehouses, production facilities and more.
In Gothenburg, Volvo Group Real Estate is leading the Campus Lundby project, creating a unique center for development of transport solutions. Campus Lundby will be characterized by openness and room for internal as well as external partnerships, and thereby take an active part in the development of the City of Gothenburg.
VP Real Estate Business Control
As VP Real Estate Business Control you will have the responsibility to lead the global business controller organization of approx. 25 controllers supporting the Real Estate function.
You will be a member in the Real Estate executive management team having the responsibility for all finance matters and financial performance management.
As head of Real Estate Business Control you hold strong and proven leadership skills from leading in a global organization. Preferably, you have a background from finance within any of the Business Areas, Truck divisions or Functions in the Group. Furthermore you have proven excellent ability to organize structure and drive processes and change management. You have a good understanding of the financial set-up in the Volvo Group.
You possess strong interpersonal skills/abilities with a high degree of 'flexibility', including an ability to network effectively across the Volvo Group and to build enduring relationships across functional and geographical areas.
Main Ativities and Rsponsibilities
• Efficiently manage and organize the function
• Continuously inspire, develop and motivate your team
• Together with the Head of Real Estate develop, plan, budget, forecast and follow up all business control activities across the organization including investments and divestments
• Be responsible for and develop the Real Estate financial model
• Drive the estimate process within Real Estate in alignment with the overall Volvo Group requirements
• Define and manage the structures and procedures for follow up of financial performance and efficiency improvements in Real Estate
• Support decision-making in providing relevant and thoughtful financial analysis and insights for the Real Estate organization and business responsibility as well as to the Volvo Group business
• Being the "Company law and order" person for the Swedish real estate legal entities

Critical Competencies for the Position
• University degree and/or a MBA in relevant financial field(s) with minimum 5 years of professional experience from senior financial management positions
• Thorough understanding of the Volvo Group businesses, processes and financial steering model
• High and solid level of leading leaders competences
• Strong VPS knowledge and Continuous improvement skills
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and networking skills
• Structured, business and result oriented with high drive and ability to see the holistic picture and make prioritizations and de-prioritizations as a consequence of decision
• Fluency in business English, spoken and written
