The newly formed ReadSoft Solution Labs are self-contained business units creating software solutions and providing services for our customers all over the world.
One of these solution labs works with developing Document Automation solutions for customers with ERP systems from Microsoft and several other vendors.
To head this solution lab, we are now looking for a business-minded, experienced leader that has worked with software development and knows what it takes to bring new solutions to market.
You will have the overall responsibility for the development, results, targets, budget and staff at the solution lab. We are currently around 20 dedicated people in the solution lab organization working with software development, quality assurance, professional services, and solution management.
You will run the solution lab with the mission to create, maintain, support and deploy solutions to our sales and delivery organizations around the world.
The key success factors are to understand the needs of the market and how to best translate this into values we can provide through our software solutions.
You will be in close contact with ReadSoft’s global organization and spend around 20-40 days per year traveling to our offices and clients around the world.
As the Vice President of the solution lab, you will be the figurehead of your organization, reporting straight to the CEO.
You have an academic degree, preferably in Computer Science or Engineering and a solid experience of software and solution development in leading positions. You also have experience of providing services to customers and partners.
You have been working with management in a commercial and result-oriented organization and you are used to working internationally, communicating your message across cultural and linguistic borders.
On a personal level, you are a commercially-driven and business-minded leader, with excellent coaching skills, and you really get a kick out of seeing people develop and perform. Furthermore, you are target oriented, analytical, strategic, well-structured, and stress tolerant.
But above all, you are a truly positive person who can act as our “change agent� when turning to our new solution lab-oriented organization. A genuinely positive attitude is also necessary to fit into a team which never misses an opportunity for a good laugh.
