The setting of Volvo Group standards for real estate services
The management of property rental/leasing agreements with external parties
Short and long-term maintenance and facility services
Execution of property construction projects
Space and occupancy optimization
Benchmarking and efficiency projects
Setting of reporting structure, guidelines and directives for financial follow-up of all properties within the Group
We work according to set processes in cooperation with other line organizations within the Volvo Group
Global Function Property & Facility Management
What is your key responsibilities?
Responsible to manage the global function about 15 people
Participate in Property Committees with Volvo Divisions and Business Areas,
Participate or drive different types of Steering Committees
Strategic work for the department as well as within the whole Real Estate organization
Speaking partner for the operational managers regarding Property and Facility management high-level topics
The main tasks the team are responsible for are:
Participate in relevant networks for news, trends, bench marking & best practices
Drive SME and Service Specialist networks on a global level (transfer of knowledge, training)
Develop directives, guidelines, instructions, descriptions and tools and communicate updates within Real Estate org
Support on legislation & regulations issues,
Develop and monitor relevant KPI:s within RE operations
Support divisional property investment projects depending on complexity
Drive roll-out projects and projects relating to global system support
What experiences, technical and functional skills would we like you to have?
Master of Science/MBA within the area of Real Estate Management or Building Construction Management, or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge skills and abilities is required to be successful in this position.
Since we work in a global environment it is important to have a highly fluent knowledge of English language both written and oral.
You are used to leading people within global networks and enjoy building business relationships. You are well structured and have an analytical approach and a strategic perspective in your daily work. We are having fun at work, and since you are a good team player you bring value also in this perspective.
