Job Assignments
Our growing company seeks a Vice President of Product Management - Muscoloskeletal (MSK) to lead our efforts in commercializing AMRA's MSK offering. This is a combination of automatically segmented muscles and fat measurements derived from MRI scans and the world's largest body composition reference data base for both research and clinical use.
This role will work closely with the CEO, CFO, Clinical Science, Business Development, and Marketing to support strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities:
• Lead overall strategy for growing MSK offering in Clinical Research
• Lead overall strategy for commercialization efforts of MSK offering for Clinical Use
• Lead overall strategy for data acquisition of new data source to continue the build out of the world's largest body composition reference data base
• Lead MSK Steering Committee of professional peers which sets strategy, product development, marketing and resourcing requirements
• Identify and engage with third-party vendors such as market research firms, consultants, databases, etc.
The role is based in Sweden, Linköping, and requires domestic and international travel for customer visits, conferences and KOL meetings.
Who are we looking for?
We believe that you are a person who wants to join a young, exciting and growing company, which will challenge you to develop your skills further and to grow together with us at AMRA Medical.
You have >10 years of Product Management leadership roles, successfully building and delivering innovative medical devices as a lead or sole product manager from conception to launch. Your education is at least a PhD in life science or an MBA.
Other requirements are:
• Experience with the following in U.S. and Europe:
• * Engaging with relevant KOLs and conducting market research to inform customer needs and market and product strategy and to understand competitive landscape
• * Collaborating with senior colleagues and leading MSK strategy to outline product design
• * Working with finance to forecast revenue or savings opportunities associated with product development initiatives; creating business cases and presenting to stakeholders
• * Maintaining a comprehensive product roadmap
• * Regulatory clearance for medical device (software and database)
• * Reimbursement process for Payors and related clinical trial design requirements
• * Coordinating internal and external stakeholders for initial commercialization of a product offering
• * Medical Imaging
• Knowledge of the following:
• * Clinical trials focused on MSK related drug development
• * Components of U.S. health care system (i.e. providers, payors, etc.)
• * Medical reimbursement process for medical devices (i.e. coding, fee schedule, medical necessity, etc.)
You must be fluent in English with the ability to write and converse clearly and effectively.
