What we are looking for
We are looking for a passionate, experienced and energetic Vice President of Product (VP Product) for Truecaller. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Truecaller product, motivated by creating and delivering superior user satisfaction while simultaneously providing long-term value and product strategy for our company. As you have a genuine interest in leading people you will develop and manage the Product Team. You'll be working in close collaboration with, and report to, our founder and CEO and you will be member of the Product Steering Group (PSG).
Your responsibilities
Product strategy
• Vision the product; determine key values and focus areas as well as product interaction and user experience
• Determine priority and business objectives and execute when decided upon
• Manage and maintain the product roadmap
• Research and monitor how users communicate with each other globally, analyze how user behavior will impact the product and bring the insight into the development of the Product Vision
User experience
• Research and monitor the market; competitors and consumer trends that , could impact the product and use findings when continuously improving the user experience
• Responsible for delivering product experiences that delight our customers and demonstrate meaningful impact on growth acceleration
• Collaborate with Chief Strategy Officer on enhancing the product for identified partners
Team management
• Build a strong and effective Product team
• Participate in release planning and management
• Collaborate with development team; communicating the vision and keeping the team focused on the user and market
• Work and continuously improve Product Development according to the Truecaller agile philosophy and principles
What we want you to have
• Proven track record of Product management, with minimum 5 years of working with mobile applications
• Proven track record of cross-functional team leadership
• Deep experience of user story design and execution
• Highly experienced and passionate about working with agile principles
• Proven track record of working with product estimating and planning
• Global work experience, having worked with multinational markets and stakeholders
• Good understanding of software development
• Excellent English skills, in both speaking and writing, as well as communication skills
• Swedish language skills is not required as our official company language is English (we will however encourage you to learn Swedish and provide Swedish lessons for free)
