Your mission
In this position, you are an important part of the management teams of Sandvik Mining and Rock Technology and Sandvik Group HR - sharing the strategic responsibility of developing and driving our business towards a strong and successful future. Acting as a credible speaking partner, you take lead in developing an organization that is adapted for increased productivity and profitability, and you support our business by providing necessary HR tools and processes. Increased manning flexibility, challenging change projects and amplified quality of leadership are solid focus areas in this position - and not to forget the importance of employee development. You lead our HR community in a matrix organization, covering all divisions and support functions, and enable them to follow the overall strategic direction and ways of working. You are also responsible for the area of EHS, as you make sure that we act according to the strategies, structures and processes for a safe and healthy workplace.

The location for this position is Stockholm, although extensive travel is required, and you report directly to the President of Sandvik Mining and Rock Technology.

Your character
You have senior leadership experience and a solid background from managing the broad spectrum of HR in a global manufacturing industry. We also consider managing another area outside of HR as highly valuable. A proven track record of working with organizational development and change management, and from managing both in-growth and recessions, is necessary to succeed in this position, as is previous participation in management teams. You have true business acumen and your career includes driving best practices of cutting edge HR. You are also skilled in project management and know your way when it comes to HR technology platforms. As we are a truly global company, advanced English skills is a requirement.

With your strategic mindset and confident approach, you drive initiatives and master challenges in our international, matrix and ever-changing organization. By considering options and making informed decisions on the go, you have a natural ability of inspiring high performance, and you lead the way by taking responsibility for your work. You grow our business and the people around you through empowering, influential and credible leadership, and you create a collaborative environment at all levels of our organization. Supported by your extensive experience and holistic mindset, you are courageous and have a clear direction for our HR development - quite simply, you speak business from an HR perspective.
