Job Description
Designs and develops information technology solutions for internal or external clients, which may include systems strategy, development and/or integration services.
May also complete consulting projects with external clients in the area of technology strategy, information systems security, data strategy, systems architecture, custom systems development, new installation and migrations of function/business area applications, application integration web, IP and online solutions and networking. Designs, codes, tests and/or customizes solutions to meet client requirements.
May support systems infrastructure, desktop or network architects by preparing detailed specifications.
Develops new technology product ideas or strategic product extensions into a commercial product.
Establishes technology product specifications, and collaborates with various functions to ensure successful product development and implementation.
Responsibilities:
Drives an integrated IT systems strategy, development, and/or integration services to satisfy the complex needs of clients.
Provides the most advanced deep domain and industry experience and expertise to (a) design and develop creative solutions, anticipating industry changes and conceptualizing solutions and (b) provide advanced advice to clients on how to design/acquire technology solutions that align to their strategy and processes.
Coordinates others working across related disciplines and across divisions on broader strategic software engineering problems and holds them accountable to improve or enhance product usability.
Drives innovation in the design and delivery of useful software solutions, shaping senior leaders' thinking with regards to strategic decisions impacting company direction on product development for external clients.
Oversees work across disciplines, coordinating with Associate Vice Presidents to resolve complex or reoccurring problems across Architecture, QA and Testing, Network design and enterprise resource planning customizations and serving as a global reference for establishing software engineering strategy across multiple disciplines.
Champions the use of the most up-to-date technology trends and competitive landscape expertise to drive opportunities and competitive advantage for our clients.
Grows the Software Engineering job family by mentoring other Software Engineers or by organizing activities for other Software Engineers to enhance their skills and experience.
Is responsible for driving Operational Excellence across the organization.
Responsible for ensuring a safe working environment for members of staff within his/her organization, and taking necessary measures to ensure compliance with applicable work safety and work environment regulations and any applicable Nasdaq policies.


Education, Professional Accomplishments, and Certifications:
Education Required: Specialized degree and MBA; or equivalent work experience.
Experience Required: At least 15 years
Special Qualifications: Maintains professional association memberships. Specialized development in commercial or business acumen, financial and strategic thinking.
